Hello, fellow writers and readers!
So… how do I write? Well, pretty much chaotic yet somewhat planned out. Honestly, I am searching for that answer myself.
When it comes to writing, I am in constant #ideacrafting in my imagination up to the point I sometimes forget awesome concepts and plot-twists, just because I get overwhelmed and miss out on writing all of it down. However, I suppose it sorts out which were the ideas really worthwhile and with potential (because I managed to remember some :D), and which were those at the first moment incredibly genius ones but apparently not as fantastic bits after all.
Emotions in my case are both motivators and barriers for writing and creating plot lines. In reality those real deals I have come up with have been created in moments I have felt friggin heartbroken and crushed. This pattern seems damn toxic, if you ask me. I cannot dwell on great content coming up only when I feel adrenaline after emotions blowing up in me. And the understanding of constant exercising, just the same way musicians, painters, actors, dancers etc. does, have made me realize that this applies for writing too. In other words- the more I write, the more ideas comes to stay.
Another aspect for writing is the language barrier. I am not native English speaker. My first language is Latvian, and majority of people doesn’t even know that it exists. Actually I wouldn’t say that that is crucial barrier for writing, because in my everyday life I use English as much as Latvian. However, there are some concepts which messes with my mind when it comes to English grammar and Latvian grammar. Since Latvian is one of the most difficult languages grammar wise sometimes I struggle with understanding that some grammar laws from Latvian are not going to apply in English. But I guess, once again, the more you write the more understanding of language comes to you.
Well I guess I found the key in order to start writing, and it is that you just have to start… writing?! :D
Anyhow, I wish everyone a creative day!!!
